CES Interpreter & Translation FAQ
How much does a Japanese interpreter at CES cost?
Single-day CES interpretation starts from $1,000 (our project minimum), with every engagement custom-quoted based on the days you need, the mode of interpretation, and any document translation. Each quote covers a vetted bilingual interpreter, a pre-event briefing, and on-floor support at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Tell us your CES plans and we'll send a quote.
How far in advance should I book a CES interpreter?
Book at least 8 weeks before CES. Top Japanese–English interpreters fill up months in advance because CES draws thousands of exhibitors at once, so early booking is the only way to guarantee availability and the best talent for your booth.
What is the difference between booth interpreters and meeting interpreters?
Booth interpreters staff your stand for the full day, greeting Japanese visitors, explaining products, and capturing leads, while meeting interpreters are dedicated to specific executive meetings, partnership negotiations, or scheduled product demos. Many CES exhibitors use both: booth coverage for foot traffic and a dedicated interpreter for high-stakes meetings.
Can your interpreters handle technical CES product demos?
Yes. Our interpreters specialize in consumer-technology and electronics terminology and study your product line before the show, so technical demonstrations, spec discussions, and Q&A are conveyed accurately in both English and Japanese.
Do you provide interpreters for CES meetings held off the show floor?
Yes. Beyond the Las Vegas Convention Center floor, we cover hotel-suite meetings, partner dinners, networking events, and off-site negotiations during CES week, including 24/7 on-call support for last-minute or late-night meetings.
What is the minimum booking for CES interpretation?
Our minimum project size is $1,000. A single day of booth or meeting interpretation meets that minimum; multi-day and full-show coverage is quoted as a package and works out more cost-effective per day. Note that we do not provide legal or medical translation, as those require credentials we do not claim.
